TPE 1
Engaging & Supporting All Students in Learning
Week 2
Class Dojo

ITEM #10
I absolutely love Class Dojo. The animation, user friendliness, and platform are great and something I plan to use if I am teaching in the younger grade levels to keep them motivated and engaged.

Remind 101

ITEM #11
I've actually used this app in the past and currently for my kids preschool. It has been a great tool for updates and notifications that ping directly to my phone. I would use this to keep an open line of communication between parents and myself, the teacher, and other staff.

Week 5
ITEM #32
Smore.com Info Email
Using Smore.com for informative classroom email was super easy and user friendly. It provided a great template with easy edit ability. This would be a super useful tool in order to keep parents informed with classroom events, important upcoming events, etc.

ITEM #31
Create a Google Form
Using a Google Form to help gain knowledge about the students in the class is an easy way to ask for the data without it feeling to invasive if asked on a one-on-one basis. I can see this would be a great and simple way to begin the year and check-in throughout the year.

Week 6
Video

ITEM #36
I absolutely LOVE animoto and the service they provide. I have used there service to create the celebration of life videos for both my Aunt and my Grandmother. This was a difficult task but with animoto it was easy and seemless to get the overall quality I desired. I could see myself using this as maybe an intro video for my class with music/inspirational quotes each day or an easy way to add to specific lessons.

ITEM #35
Parts of a Plant
I chose to create a presentation on the "Parts of a Plant" with a target audience of upper elementary. Please click the link below to view the Prezi video in full. I could see myself using this as a fun, visual way to show elements in a lesson. It was a bit more time consuming to put together though than I would like, although very easy if using a provided template. The freeware is limited though.

Week 9
ITEM #50
3 Apple Teacher Badges
These basic skills trainings were a great tool to familiarize myself with the applications that Mac offers I haven't used in a long time. I plan to keep working through these trainings so that I can better help train my future students in how to use these program applications in the classroom. I can see many uses for presentation projects and group/individual research projects.

I completed 5 badges to date.
