TPE 4
Planning Instruction & Designing Learning Experiences for ALL Students.
Week 1
URL Shortener - bit.ly
ITEM #1
This is a great tool to utilize in the classroom for a variety of reasons. The main use I see is to simplify links in teaching docs to sample videos, images, pages, etc. so that you can easily click or direct students to type into their own devices. For this exercise, I've used bit.ly to link to an anchor chart.

Notetaking - Google Keep
ITEM #2
I have only used the provided note-taking notepad on my phone up to this point and didn't even know that Google had a note-taking app that was already on my phone. It's great to learn these tools now. I can see myself using this to help prioritize my task to-do lists for lesson planning, etc.

Week 2

Training
ITEM #6
Great resource for training on tech. Completed the Computer Basics & Internet Safety for Kids Trainings.

HP Reveal - Augmented Reality
ITEM #13
Unfortunately I received this message when I went to the site in order to create my augmented reality. It sounded interesting so I'm sad that I won't have the chance to learn more about it.

Youtube Playlist
ITEM #7
I focused my playlist on how technology affects our classrooms today.

Week 3
Education Pinner
ITEM #18
I had already started a couple of pinning habits related to education so I expanded on these as I feel they are valuable tools I will use in the classroom and why try to think of things out of thin air when there are so many creative ideas already out there. Great way to keep organized ideas for lesson planning.
Embed Social Media
ITEM #17
I chose to embed my social media for instagram, pintrest board and my twitter handle using a widget that was already part of the wix theme I am using for this site. Alternatively, I would need to upgrade my account in order to use the other twitter feed, insta feed, fb feed options, which would cost a monthly fee.

Padlet Collaboration
ITEM #19
I have had the chance to use Padlet for my EDTE 4100 course to collaboration on our group presentations to provide feedback of 3 things we did well and 1 wish for each presentation/demo lesson.

Collab via Hangouts
ITEM #15
We have all been utilizing our tech collaboration tools even more these days while following the stay-at-home guidelines. I chose to try out Hangout.Google.com using the chat feature with a couple of classmates since I hadn't used these feature in quite some time and wanted a refresher. It's a great tool that allows for easy, almost text-like, conversation.

Week 9
SAMR Lesson Plan
ITEM #49
Original Lesson Plan HERE
- This was a lesson I had created for another class group presentation and job interview.
Modified Lesson Plan HERE
- I have made modifications to the lesson plan directly in the text, the changes are called out with matching color to the graphic on the right.
